DALLAS R&B SENSATION TRE BISHOP SETS FEBRUARY AS NEW RELEASE DATE FOR THE LYRICAL INCEPTION (VOLUME 1)

Bishop to include new bonus tracks to highly anticipated EP

JANUARY 24, 2011 (DALLAS) Soul and R&B vocalist Tre Bishop is gearing up to include new stirring material to his highly-anticipated EP The Lyrical Inception (Volume 1). The Dallas native has set a new release date for Feb. 1 in order to develop the raw bonus tracks into his album. Bishop will continue to regularly provide exclusive tracks on his social media sites for his fans and circulate his performances throughout Dallas/Fort Worth.

Tre Bishop's enticing elements of old school R&B proves his standing as legitimate force in the music league. His first EP entitled Let's Play Pretend has already gained notoriety for his compelling vocals and lyrics. Bishop's paramount records such as "Take My Time" and "Wanna Be My Girl" only represent a fraction of what music fanatics can expect from The Lyrical Inception (Volume 1). The singer proves that he is a highly demanded figure who continuously rises to the occasion.

Bishop will continue to captivate his fans with numerous appearances set for the remainder of January. He will be performing at the weekly event Tuesday Night Live located at TePheJez on Jan. 25, Hip Hop for Hunger Artist Showcase on Jan. 27, and Heroes Lounge on Jan. 28. Fans can also catch his radio appearances on The After Party show Jan. 24 and Da Diva's Dish on Jan. 27.
What better way to boost the momentum of a highly demanded EP than to create even more captivating singles.

Golden Globe Rewind

It was one big glamorous celebration at the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards and the overwhelming winners of the night were "The Social Network" and "Glee." "The Social Network" nabbed four awards including the coveted Best Motion Picture - Drama and "Glee" was not far behind taking home three awards including Best TV Series - Comedy or Musical.

It was refreshing to see the mobsters of HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" take the award for Best TV series -Drama and Steve Buscemi with his awkward charm winning the Best Actor in a TV series -Drama for the show.

Despite the much deserved wins of the night, there are most definitely some snubs that must be addressed . Confusingly, the award for Best Motion Picture Actor - Comedy or Musical went to Paul Giamatti instead of Johnny Depp for his off beat role in "Alice in Wonderland."

The main stage crowned the award winners, but there was also winning and losing happening on the red carpet. Below are a few of the fashion hits and misses of the night.
